About FURY Basketball

What is FURY?
FURY Basketball is a 501(c)3 AAU affiliated organization based in Georgetown, Texas. On average, FURY serves 150 Central Texas youth, grades 5-12, by providing a competitive spring/summer club basketball program.

FURY is also proud to host the FURY Invitational each May. A "Girls Only" tournament, the FURY Invitational is recognized as the largest event of its kind in Central Texas having averaged 100 teams each of the past 3 years.

How much is your Club Fee and what does it cover?
Club fee for one child is $500 for the spring/summer season. Discounts are provided to families with more than one child participating. Refer to Club Fee for a breakdown and ability to pay by credit card through our shopping cart. Fees are due in full by April 30th unless other arrangements are made.

FURY teams, on average, play 7-10 tournaments and practice twice a week based on gym availability and each coach's descretion. Club owned uniforms are provided to each player and are to be returned to the team's coach at season end.

When and where do teams practice?
Based on gym availability, FURY teams practice Tuesday/Thursday evenings in Georgetown ISD gyms. Practices begin after spring break and cease mid-July.

Are there Tryouts?
In general, tryouts are scheduled following completion of school basketball. Specific dates will be posted on this website. Existing teams may or may not conduct tryouts based on their specific roster needs.

Do I need to create an account on the FURY website?
Parents are asked to create an account to access options such as online payments, volunteer sign-up and joining email list.
